What is geoengineering?
Climate engineering, or commonly geoengineering, is deliberate and large-scale intervention in the Earth's climate system. The main category of climate engineering is solar geoengineering or solar radiation management
• Solar geoengineering: Also known as albedo modification or solar radiation management (SRM), this form of geoengineering seeks to block incoming solar radiation and send it back out to space. Doing so will theoretically reduce global temperatures.
